It is a 3 cup food processor that can handle many of the smaller jobs around the house, where using a bigger food processor would be unneccessary.One blade covers two main functions. With a press of the chop button and you will be well on your way to chopping onions, herbs, tomatos, peppers, whatever you need. Simply pressing the grind button uses the dull side of the blade to grind nuts, cheese, coffee beans, etc.
It is very compact, at 9 inches high, that makes packing it up easy as could be.

To start I was suprised at the difference between ratings between this and another model, and can only come to the conclusion that Cuisinart customers must have high expectations as there was virtually no difference between the two in a side by side test.
Where I really found this model to shine is on the grind feature where it totally outpaced the abilty of the other food processore. Between the two I would choose the Cuisinart.
