I needed to replace an older blender so I went about doing my research on various products to choose the best model possible. I started by using a newer model of the one I had, since others had given it rave reviews, but found that it was actually worse than my worn out blender.

Then I went about looking into another model when a store clerk recommended this model, and even boasted the 30 day return policy of the store if I was unhappy. I took her advice and was greatly pleased with the results. It blends good, is quiet, the food processor works great, and its easy to clean.

I do want to note that after owning the model for about 6 years one of the parts broke, but I was able to easily contact Cuisinart for a replacement part and got it shipped for about $12. Paying that amount for something that we use so frequently was not an issue at all.

The Cuisinart mini prep food processor is perfect for those smaller cooking jobs you may have, or if you simply do not need to feed a family but want to make a wholesome meal.

Small, yet powerful, is the best description that I can give you on this midel. It is a 3 cup food processor that can handle many of the smaller jobs around the house, where using a bigger food processor would be unneccessary.One blade covers two main functions. With a press of the chop button and you will be well on your way to chopping onions, herbs, tomatos, peppers, whatever you need. Simply pressing the grind button uses the dull side of the blade to grind nuts, cheese, coffee beans, etc.

It is very compact, at 9 inches high, that makes packing it up easy as could be.

To start I was suprised at the difference between ratings between this and another model, and can only come to the conclusion that Cuisinart customers must have high expectations as there was virtually no difference between the two in a side by side test.

Where I really found this model to shine is on the grind feature where it totally outpaced the abilty of the other food processore. Between the two I would choose the Cuisinart.

We picked this model because we simply did not want to have any large appliances around on the countertop, but we needed one big enough to handle our recipes. The model has what I think is the biggest motor in a processor this size.

I like that it is easy to clean, stable and quiet during use, and dishwasher safe.

I dont like that it is fiddly when it comes to locking down the workbowl.

 I avoided buying a food processor in the past for many reasons. The motor was small, the chute was dangerously small, they were a pain to clean, etc. Until I received this model as a gift.

The steel finish  is very beautiful and easy to wipe clean, it doesn't take up a huge amount of space either which is nice. It is also sturdy enough to not walk off the table with heavy or awkward loads.

 The feeder tube is huge, which reduces any pre-prep before the prep. 

The first time I used this model it made the most perfect turkey salad with the leftovers from Christmas dinner. It was so amazing that my family didn't know I had even made it because the machine is so quiet too.

I owned another 14 cup Cuisinart Food Processor for over 20 years before it finally went out. I chose this model based upon the looks and how it matched the rest of my kitchen. It is very sleek.
